Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform planned maintenance, inspections, repairs, overhauls, new machine builds, and modifications on forklifts, EWPs, boom lifts, and other lifting equipment.
  • Quality Service: Deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support customers.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues using various methods and tools.
  • Customer Interaction: Build and maintain good customer service relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Trade Certificate: In LV, HV, Diesel, or Fitting/Turning.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in smaller dealerships or independents where candidates needed to think for themselves, problem-solve, and fault find.
  • Mechanical Interest: Candidates with a genuine interest in cars or similar outside of work, as they tend to produce better quality workmanship.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous work on vehicles, trucks, engines, access equipment, plant equipment, etc.
  • Honesty and Transparency: Ability to honestly appraise your abilities, work with strengths, and build on skill gaps.
  • Cultural Fit: Must fit well with the existing team, which values collaboration and mutual support.
