Job description
Are you a detail-driven Accounts Administrator looking for a new challenge? Join a close-knit and supportive team in Brisbane where your skills will make a real impact.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting day-to-day administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update customer and supplier records in XERO.
- Process, code and store supplier invoices and staff reimbursements.
- End-to-end payroll processing and management.
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee debtor/creditor accounts.
- Manage accounts receivable and escalate overdue accounts when necessary.
- Perform monthly close-out routines and prepare relevant reports.
- Coordinate deliveries, process goods received, and update buy prices.
- Complete and lodge monthly IAS/BAS statements.
- Maintain version control of company documents and quality system records.
- Provide administrative support to Directors including mail handling, ordering spare parts, and ad-hoc reporting.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with XERO
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with payroll, AP/AR entries
- Strong maths and problem-solving abilities
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
- A proactive and reliable team player
