We’re working with a highly regarded business in the Rail Engineering and Manufacturing sector who are seeking a proactive and adaptable Production Co-Ordinator to join their team in Kewdale. About the Role
As a Production Co-Ordinator, you’ll act as the key link between production planning, the workshop team, and suppliers. Your role will involve streamlining order processing, ensuring accurate workload forecasting, and helping to remove blockers to keep production on track. This is a hands-on coordination role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
- Process production orders and maintain accurate job data in the ERP/MRP system.
- Understand the end-to-end production process to effectively support the workshop tea.
- Identify and help resolve issues that may impact workflow or delivery timeline.
- Forecast workload and manage scheduling priorities based on production needs.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing queries and follow up on outstanding items to prevent delays.
- Ensure data integrity in the ERP/MRP system for stock, orders, and production status.
- Collaborate with the operations, purchasing, and workshop teams to maintain efficiency and service levels.
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds who bring a practical understanding of production and workshop operations, see below:
- Experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Engineering Coordination.
- A trades background with a strong understanding of how things are built, maintained, stripped, and refurbished in a workshop setting, combined with intermediate-level IT skills.
- Existing ERP/MRP system experience highly regarded.
- Confident speaker - you'll be conducting meetings with visual boards around production and forecasting.
