2XM Recruit are now seeking a Warehousing and Logistics Manager in the Hunter region on a temporary basis with a chance of extension.

Role: Warehousing and Logistics Manager
Location: Newcastle
Job type: Casual contract, full time
Contract length: 2-3 months with chance of extension
Pay rate: $82.26 p/h Casual

Role Overview:

As the Warehousing & Logistics Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of inventory and logistics management for our Newcastle operations, handling both company and customer-owned inventory.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on support for all production activities within the project.
• Supervise purchasing processes to effectively manage goods receipt, storage, dispatch, cycle counting, order expediting, and logistics.
• Assist in the efficient coordination of freight forwarding and return logistics operations.
• Enhance inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Contribute to status updates and performance reporting for warehousing and distribution operations.


Experience needed:
• SAP experience is essential
• Strong leadership experience in a similar role mentoring teams
• Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics or any other safety critical/heavy industry environment
