Sales Administrator

2XM Recruit are delighted to be recruiting for a Sales Administrator on a permanent basis in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs on a permanent basis for a well-established, growing firm that produces and supplies a range of equipment for rail and tramway infrastructure, as well as rolling stock.
Role: Sales Administrator
Location: Hornsby
Job type: Permanent
Salary: $70,000 plus Super
Hybrid working model, three days at home.
Duties:
• Managing general sales and quote feedback, CRM updates and maintenance, handling minor quotes, and tracking sales activities within the ERP system.
• Respond to daily inquiries received through the business email, preparing and processing quotes, and ensuring they progress to orders while maintaining communication with customers.
• Maintain accurate data entries related to sales quotes and invoicing, ensuring all records are up-to-date and well-organized.
• Monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery in alignment with production and assembly schedules, providing regular updates to customers.
• Communicate with customers, designers, regulatory authorities, and suppliers to gather and share information relevant to the business unit.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate information is collected and plans are executed on schedule for timely delivery.
• Provide administrative assistance to all office staff, with a primary focus on sales-related activities.
• Step in to cover other administrative team roles and responsibilities as needed.
• Support the Office Manager with daily tasks and general administrative responsibilities, such as filing, maintaining company records, and upholding office procedures.
Experience needed:
• 2-3 years’ experience in administration/sales admin
• Experience in a manufacturing/engineering business is highly beneficial
