Job Advert: Mechanical Fitter We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in mechanical systems, particularly within the rail, manufacturing, or construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on light and heavy-duty vehicles/equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.
Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs on automotive and heavy-duty equipment.
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Key Requirements:
Trade Qualification as a Mechanic (LV and/or HD) or Fitter.
Proven experience in LV/HD mechanics or fitter roles, ideally within rail, mining, or construction sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components for automotive and heavy-duty equipment.
Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A valid driver’s license.
