About the role: 2XM are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician or Diesel Fitter that is experienced in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and has got a wide knowledge re-building and repairing pumps and grinders.
What's on offer:
$62 p/h + OT available on occassion
Location: Dandenong South
Day Shift 6am to 2pm
Ongoing casual with pathway to permanency after 6 months
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance and breakdown repairs on plant equipment
Repairing and re-building pumps and grinders
Ensure that plant equipment is inspected on SAP based Preventive Maintenance Routines
Assist in managing all Maintenance and Engineering processes to ensure optimal equipment availability.
Performs activities to increase the sites operational effectiveness, while constantly adhering to the high level of work practices and safety standards.
Skills & Experience:
Trade qualified ie – Certificate 3 in Engineering
Forklift licence, WAH & Confined Space
Confined Space ticket
Strong welding or fabrication experience
Experience with SAP software (or other maintenance software systems).
Experience in heavy plant maintenance and ideally chemical/hazardous area would be ideal.
