2XM Recruit is looking for a motivated and skilled Structural Engineer in Perth. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of exciting and complex building projects in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
As a Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in the full design lifecycle—from concept to construction. You'll collaborate with engineers and drafters to deliver high-quality, efficient structural solutions for concrete structures, including post-tensioned systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver structural designs for concrete buildings, including post-tensioned elements • Use software such as RAPT, RAM Concept, SAFE, and ETABS for analysis and design • Prepare and review detailed markups, ensuring accuracy and constructability • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes • Ensure compliance with relevant Australiancodes and standards • Communicate with a range of clients
Experience & Skills Required
• 3–6 years' experience in structural engineering, specifically in building design • Solid understanding of concrete structures, with post-tensioning experience highly regarded • Proficiency in RAPT, RAM Concept, SAFE, ETABS • Experience producing and reviewing detailed markups and working closely with drafting teams • Strong communication and collaboration skills • A proactive, detail-focused mindset and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
