2XM Recruit are now actively seeking a Maintenance/Upgrades Planner on a permanent basis in Dungog.

Role: Maintenance/Upgrades Planner
Location: Dungog
Job type: Permanent
Salary: Up to $130,000 plus Super
 
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all upgrade and maintenance activities for rail resurfacing equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and manage detailed schedules for planned maintenance and upgrades on rail resurfacing equipment.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to prioritisze upgrade projects based on operational demands and equipment lifecycle needs.
• Regularly review and adjust project timelines to accommodate shifting priorities or unexpected challenges.
• Develop and issue work packages, ensuring that all necessary resources, materials, and personnel are effectively allocated.
• Monitor project progress, report on developments, and proactively address risks to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate upgrades into ongoing operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all upgrade and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Experience needed:

• Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or project coordination, preferably in the rail, infrastructure, or heavy machinery sectors.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multi-disciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems and planning tools.
• Current valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
