Manufacturing Engineer Salary: $100k - $125k + Super (based on experience) Key Responsibilities:
Transform R&D insights into precise production instructions.
Maintain and update production bills of materials (BoM) for assembly.
Manage design changes and ensure seamless integration into the ERP system.
Collaborate with procurement, planning, and assembly teams to optimise operations.
Lead initiatives to address non-conforming parts and drive quality improvements.
Assess inventory levels and make strategic decisions on purchasing or in-house assembly.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in the Australian production/manufacturing sector, preferably in surface drilling.
Proficient in CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills and a knack for technical report writing.
Production Engineer: Salary: $110k - $135k + Super (based on experience) Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead improvements in assembly operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
Design and refine assembly routines, instructions, and checklists.
Reducing product costs.
Innovate testing and inspection methods to ensure product quality.
Engage in projects that focus on safety and cost reduction.
Document findings for Production Situation Meetings (PSM) and provide actionable insights.
Lead production development projects and conduct risk assessments for new processes.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in an engineering role within the Australian manufacturing sector.
Familiarity with production design tools and CAD/CAM software.
Strong communication and technical skills, with a proven track record in manufacturing.
