Production Engineer. Both roles are full-time and permanent.

Manufacturing Engineer 
Salary: $100k - $125k + Super (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform R&D insights into precise production instructions.
  • Maintain and update production bills of materials (BoM) for assembly.
  • Manage design changes and ensure seamless integration into the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, and assembly teams to optimise operations.
  • Lead initiatives to address non-conforming parts and drive quality improvements.
  • Assess inventory levels and make strategic decisions on purchasing or in-house assembly.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Australian production/manufacturing sector, preferably in surface drilling.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for technical report writing.
Production Engineer: Salary: $110k - $135k + Super (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead improvements in assembly operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
  • Design and refine assembly routines, instructions, and checklists.
  • Reducing product costs.
  • Innovate testing and inspection methods to ensure product quality.
  • Engage in projects that focus on safety and cost reduction.
  • Document findings for Production Situation Meetings (PSM) and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead production development projects and conduct risk assessments for new processes.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering role within the Australian manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with production design tools and CAD/CAM software.
  • Strong communication and technical skills, with a proven track record in manufacturing.
