Logistics Coordinator
Responsibilities
6 month Contract with potential to go permanent

In this role, you'll play an essential part in our clients Service Division where you will be supporting key teams like ELSE Field Service, Service Centre, M&S, and Project Management. This is an on-site role where you'll bring your logistics expertise to drive smooth operations and ensure that warehousing activities run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate warehouse activities for incoming and outgoing goods, following established procedures to ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately.
  • Manage picklists for spare parts and project sales orders, ensuring the Store Person/Warehouse team is set for timely picking, packing, and dispatching.
  • Obtain and compare quotes for exports, aligning with project budgets to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Oversee dispatch processes according to incoterms, prioritizing safety and efficiency in timely deliveries.
  • Maintain consistent communication with carriers for scheduled pick-ups and on-time deliveries.
  • Participate in inventory control processes to keep warehouse stock accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use SAP for supply chain management tasks; familiarity with procurement, MRP, stock, and inventory management is beneficial.
  • Build strong working relationships with carriers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal clients like Project Managers to ensure prompt delivery of parts and equipment, while maintaining accurate data in the ERP system.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and adherence to storage standards.
  • Maintain daily communication with suppliers to ensure steady inventory flow.
Qualifications
  • Skilled in SAP, Office 365, and Salesforce, with a keen interest in logistics and the supply of MV/LV Power Equipment (Or open to learning these systems)
  • At least two years of experience in a logistics role, showcasing your proficiency in warehousing and outbound logistics.
  • Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills, with Salesforce as a plus.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and committed to timely deliveries.
  • Confident in English communication, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clients.
