Are you a strategic thinker with a technical background and a passion for customer engagement? We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the WA Engineering function for a leading provider in the rail track maintenance sector.
In this senior leadership role, you’ll act as the technical face of the business—working closely with clients to interpret and present rail asset data in a clear and impactful way. Your ability to “tell the story behind the data” will be key to helping clients optimise their infrastructure and respond to changing environmental conditions.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the Engineering function across Western Australia.
- Providing ongoing technical support to customers across the state.
- Interpreting and presenting rail data in a meaningful and engaging way.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders by delivering clear, value-driven insights.
- Representing the business in technical discussions and helping clients proactively manage their assets.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree-qualified in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Solid experience in the rail sector—ideally with an understanding of how environmental conditions affect rail assets.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable presenting complex information in a simple, compelling format.
- Confident, charismatic, and able to influence without getting lost in the technical weeds.
