The Role: As an Electrical Draftsperson you will have experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical and be proficient in electrical drafting tasks
Prepare and create electrical drawings, including single line diagrams, electrical schematics, and board shop drawings.
Work closely with Engineering team delivering 2D drawing output and associated compliance requirements across some of WA’s most exciting projects.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project needs and provide accurate and timely drafting support.
Ensure all drawings and documents are accurately filed, maintained, and accessible for project teams.
Continuously improve drafting and document control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare drawings and models to budgeted hours and timeframes as directed.
The Candidate:
Minimum 3 years Australian experience with full working rights.
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD with a strong portfolio of electrical drafting work.
Knowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, power distribution electrical installations, and manufacturing.
Knowledge of statutory and regulatory guidelines.
Experience in creating single line diagrams, electrical schematics, and board shop drawings.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with engineers and designers.
Ability to manage document control processes across projects, including tracking and updating drawing submissions, changes, and registers.
