Monday - Friday, 8.00 - 4.06pm, 38 X hours worked.
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our team, working on electrical mechanical equipment and units, supplying to the Australian Defense Force (Naval Vessels). This workshop-based role requires a qualified tradesperson with a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical electrical equipment for naval applications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components.
Perform electrical wiring of PLCS and electrical units.
Perform mechanical assembly of units.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards throughout all tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
Trade qualification, Certificate III in Electrical Fitting, Electrotechnology or a related field.
Valid "A" Grade Electrical License.
Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
