We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Trade Assistant to join a reputable company in Forestdale, Perth. Job Description: As a Trade Assistant, you will support skilled tradespeople in the daily operations. Your role is crucial to ensuring the smooth execution of tasks and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting tradespeople with various tasks related to operations.
Preparing and maintaining the worksite, including setting up equipment and materials.
Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision.
Ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
Performing general labour duties as required.
Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is highly desirable.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
Dogging Ticket (advantageous)
MSIC (advantageous)
Forklift Ticket essential
White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essential.
