Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality structural solutions for residential projects, including single dwellings, multi-residential developments, and complex custom designs
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering teams to ensure designs are structurally sound, practical, and cost-effective
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural integrity and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design, development, and construction phases
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that all milestones are met
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and innovation within the company
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3+ years in structural engineering, particularly in the residential sector
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in structural design software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
