2XM Recruit are actively recruiting for a Quality Engineer/Analyst on a contract basis for a leading rail technology and innovation business.
Role: Quality Engineer/Analyst Location: Australia (fully remote) Contract Length: 6 months (possibility of extension)
As a Quality Engineer/Analyst, you will help streamline Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management, improve business-wide reporting, and enhance system accessibility across teams.
Duties:
• NCR Management & Clean-Up – Address aged NCRs, ensuring proper resolution and alignment with compliance standards. • Reporting & Analytics – Develop high-level executive reports, providing visibility on quality trends and improvement opportunities. • Status Updates Across the Business – Create streamlined reporting processes to improve transparency and decision-making. • Tech-Driven Solutions – Utilise automated quality systems to ensure seamless, remote access and business-wide reporting.
About You:
• Rail Industry Experience (Transit) – Strong understanding of quality processes in the transit sector. • NCR Expertise – Ability to assess, manage, and resolve non-conformance reports efficiently. • Executive-Level Reporting – Skilled in presenting insights to leadership and driving strategic decision-making. • Tech-Savvy Mindset – Comfortable with digital tools, automation, and remote collaboration systems. • Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail – Capable of identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and improving efficiency.
