Then we’ve got the opportunity for you. 2XM are on the hunt for a motivated Project Engineer to join our innovative, culture focused client and help deliver their fast-expanding and unmatched capability within the subsea machine preservation and maintenance space.
The goal of the role will be to join our clients’ established engineering and technical team to help schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage technical solutions assuring project accuracy and quality, working alongside the Technical Manager.

The goal of the role will be to join our clients’ established engineering and technical team to help schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage technical solutions assuring project accuracy and quality, working alongside the Technical Manager.

The role
- Develop and update method statements, test plans, reports and documentation
- Working in the subsea maintenance and preservation space
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring preservation projects
- Monitoring compliance to WorkSafe regulations, practices, QA and QC
- Assignment of responsibilities to project team
- Heavy interaction with workshop staff
- Liaising and communicating with clients and project participants to provide technical support
- Overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans)
The candidate
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience (structural / mechanical engineering advantageous)
- 4+ years’ experience
- Proven capability
- A strong leader, with good communication skills
- A strong decision maker
- Understands regulator practices and Australian Standards
- Team player with innovative ideas
- Someone who is not afraid to challenge and implement their own ideas and processes.
