Parts and Sales Administrator

2XM Recruit are now seeking a Parts and Sales Administrator on a contract basis in Newcastle for a leading end-to-end engineering and services provider.
Role: Parts and Sales Administrator
Location: Broadmeadow
Job type: Casual 6 week contract (chance of extension)
Rate: $76.59 p/h Casual
You will be responsible for co-managing all aspects of the parts process in an Heavy Engineering industry, including optimising the process and ensuring adherence to governance.
Duties:
• As part of the Parts team, ensure prompt and structured daily interactions with customers, guiding them from initial inquiries or unsolicited offers through to order completion, after-sales communication, reordering, and follow-up.
• Interpret and assess material part requirements by leveraging insights from internal resources such as SAP, businesses GED Library, and Asset Management and Engineering departments.
• Collaborate with internal Procurement teams and external suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and lead time information.
• Analyse and compare data from various sources to determine accurate and reliable inputs for preparing customer offers.
• Perform transactional data entry and maintain accurate records within SAP and related internal systems and documentation.
Experience needed:
• Parts sales/sales admin background
• Experience in a heavy industry such as Rail, Defence or Mining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
