Permanent Role, North Melbourne workshop location.
7:00 AM to 3:30pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays.
$38.52 - $42.74 per hour plus penalties.

Responsibilities & Duties: To deliver high-quality mechanical fitting, assembly, and repair services on pneumatic bulk tankers and related components, while ensuring adherence to safety standards, customer specifications, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within both production and repair teams. Utilize strong mechanical expertise in both production and repair environments, including:
Accurately fitting new compressors, blowers, and PTOs to prime movers.
Assembling compressor power packs and other mechanical systems.
Completing finishing tasks on production tankers to meet customer requirements.
Conducting mechanical repairs and assembly on trucks and tankers as necessary.
Performing general mechanical assembly and repair work as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Trade Qualification: Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to contribute to business enhancements.
Forklift and/or HR truck license (Desirable)
