HSEQ Coordinator
  • Located in the Sutherland Shire, NSW
  • Working with a leading national company.
  • $110,000 +Super + Shared Vehicle

National company who delivers projects using complete in-house capabilities, including design and construction, project management, commercial and retail refurbishments, fit-outs, ATM installations, and machinery relocation

Role overview:
  • Work with the Group HSQE team to maintain and enhance HSQE systems, ensuring processes are efficient, standardized, and effectively implemented across the organization.
  • Manage and organize documentation, including training records, certificates, and inspection reports, while ensuring health, safety, and environmental data is accurately stored and easily accessible.
  • Assess training requirements, and coordinate WHS training sessions and competency verifications for employees.
  • Support project pre-planning by incorporating WHS and environmental considerations, preparing project management plans, and refining Safe Operating Procedures.
  • Perform audits, inspections, and incident management tasks, while driving the rollout of new HSQE initiatives and programs
  • Manage exciting fit-out, refurbishment, and industrial projects.
  • A mix of site work and office-based tasks (50/50 split).
 Key Projects You'll Work On:
  • Fit-Outs & Refurbs: Projects up to $5M, 6 weeks–6 months duration.
  • Industrial/Commercial Builds: Projects up to $20M, 6–18 months duration.
  • ATM installations and minor works.
Skills /Experience required:
  • WHS qualifications (completed or in progress)
  • Experience within Construction projects (Specifically Commercial or Industrial)
  • Construction White Card, First Aid competency, and a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and familiarity with systems and document control processes.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites across Australia as needed. (Regional areas)
  • Flexibility with hours. (Some projects may require night works due to hour constraints)
