About the Role: The role is working for a leading company in industrial technology and transportation solutions. As the EHS Advisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining best-practice health, safety, and environmental management systems. You will work closely with production teams, leadership, and stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Promote a positive safety culture by engaging with all levels of the business.
Collaborate with production teams and leadership to identify and resolve EHS issues.
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and audits to ensure compliance.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Monitor and evaluate EHS performance, providing reports and recommendations.
Deliver toolbox talks and safety training sessions to employees.
Support change management processes and document control related to EHS.
Ensure all employees have access to and use the correct PPE.
Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Safety, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
ISO 45001 Certification / Lead Auditor Accreditation.
Industry experience in Mining, Manufacturing, or a similar environment.
Proven track record of implementing EHS programs and driving continuous improvement.
Experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
