As an Electrical Technician, you’ll join the service and maintenance team specialising in high-voltage rail components. Your core tasks will include:
- Servicing and overhauling Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs), surge arrestors, and other 25kV rail systems
- Testing, diagnosing, and refurbishing assemblies using OEM-specific components
- Using electrical testing tools for both static and dynamic checks
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures and quality standards
- Accurately documenting all work via SAP, Excel, and other internal systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical Qualification (essential) – Certificate III in Electrical Fitting
- Strong attention to detail and confidence with delicate, electrical componentry
- Experience working on electrical systems, testing, and diagnostics
- A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to learn from a well-established team
- Capability to follow procedures in a structured, process-driven environment
- Experience working on rail or rolling stock systems
- Familiarity with electrical cabinet wiring or rail signalling equipment
- Prior use of SAP or similar maintenance systems
- You must have full Australian working rights
- A pre-employment medical will be required prior to onboarding
