2XM Recruit are currently on the hunt for a motivated Mechanical Workshop Supervisor for one of our grade A clients across manufacturing and servicing within Hydraulics, Lubrication and Fluid Management. The position has opened due growth and an internal promotion.  This is your opportunity to join our client who is both well-established and renowned players in their industries and also known for great practices, quality of work and strong culture.

The Position:
  • Hands on supervising role, you will lead the workshop designing and manufacturing hydraulics and lubrication products
  • Support a small to medium team of mechanical & hydraulic fitters, mechanics, apprentices and trade assistants
  • Work closely with the Engineering and Sales teams across 2 locations in WA
  • Implementing practices and procedures to ensure the smooth running of operations within workshops
  • Maintaining records of work completed and materials used
  • Maintaining stock levels of parts, supplies and equipment
  • Scheduling of work rosters
The Person:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or servicing of Hydraulic products and services
  • Trade Certificate – essential
  • Hydraulics experience – essential
  • Filtration, motors & pumps and diesel engines , power packs and heat exchanges just some of the types of product
  • Quick thinker and problem solver
  • Strong commitment to safety of workers
  • Great leadership and communication skills with customer service being centric to your how you operate 
  • Previous experience in supervisory role – preferred
  • Can travel up to twice per month to goldfields and pilbara as required
