2XM Recruit are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to take on a key role for one of our clients based north of the river. If you are looking for your next challenge and describe yourself as a self-motivated Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader then we would love to hear from you.

This is a busy role with many moving parts, and the successful candidate will inherit a team of approximately 8-10 warehouse staff to lead and mentor, delivering exceptional customer service to variety of clients across the Mining industry.

About the Role:

  • The Warehouse Tema Leader is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant handling of consumable mining goods & products.
  • The position leads a team of approximately ten staff, and we are looking for a candidate who can drive and maintain high operational standards whilst effectively delivering a critical function of the business.
  • Permanent: Full Time Position.
  • Salary: $90,000 salary – negotiable.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday with working hours somewhere between 7am – 4pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the warehouse team, including task allocation, training and performance guidance.
  • Oversee all requirements including goods receivable, pick/packing, dispatch, local truck runs, container loading/unloading, and internal stock transfers
  • Ensuring containers are loaded correctly and goods leave the yard to export standards.
  • Complete online freight bookings through various carrier and freight portals.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts and full stock take processes.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and promote a safe workplace.
  • Hands-on approach, including picking and packing orders when required to meet customer deadlines.
  • Complete administrative tasks, liaise with office/admin staff, and assist with recruiting warehouse personnel.

The Candidate – What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse environment with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership.
  • Strong leadership capability with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Current forklift licence and valid driver’s licence.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse systems, inventory processes and freight booking platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.
  • Comfortable with hands-on work and leading by example.
