About the Role
This is a established role within our Perth business and great opportunity to lead and develop an established team of 2 blue collar experienced recruiters plus 1 Mobilisation coordinator while remaining hands-on yourself, delivering a vertical mining recruitment desk. At this stage that desk is the Mechanical desk but we will be open to adding services based on your experience. The role offers the chance to make a genuine impact, driving team performance, mentoring consultants, and contribute to the continued growth across our business. We will consider leaders at all levels from Junior to Senior. Above all else is “Attitude and Career Focus” is key.
What does a typical 2XM day look like?
- Set team up or success across 3 core markets within Mining – Civil, Electrical and Mechanical (look to add to this with your expertise in Mining).
- Work within the leadership team, adding value and strategic ideas to continue improve our business.
- Deliver and grow existing 360 desk Build and action a sales plan / strategy and, develop value-based relationships with both new and known clients & prospects
- Recruitment Specialist – develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for specific roles you recruit
- Screen & interview candidates – Conduct thorough phone / face to face interviews to ensure you’re only sending the very best candidates forward to your clients!
Having operated in the WA market for over 15 years, we have a recognised brand and, a great story to tell. The role will form part of a 5 person leadership team in Perth and involve collaboration with other state leaders. You will spend time with the current Manager for a very thorough handover (efore they depart on their travel journey in October). The role will ultimately suit someone that enjoys the opportunity to develop team members, set high standards and lead from the front across recruitment and client growth.
Requirements
- Recruitment leadership at some level with ambition and desire to succeed – Essential
- Confident – able to build rapport with people either over the phone or in person
- Keen to commit to a vertical desk and become the very best
- Articulate communicator with a strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Office 365 – Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel and previous recruitment CRM experience
