You’ll be responsible for supervising a skilled team of mechanics in the workshop, focusing on quality, safety, and productivity. Your day-to-day will include:
- Coordinating and overseeing maintenance and repairs on forklifts and access equipment but also ready to go and help if need it
- Ensuring work is completed to high standards, safely and efficiently
- Supporting and mentoring team members
- Liaising with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth service delivery
- Previous leadership experience in a mechanical workshop (or ready to step into it!)
- Trade qualified heavy diesel mechanic (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Can-do attitude and ability to mentor others
