The Opportunity

The Manager Quality & Risk plays a key role in overseeing the organisation’s quality and risk frameworks. Working closely with senior leaders, you will ensure systems are effective, compliant, and aligned with sector standards and legislation.
This position involves leading improvements, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting the quality team to deliver safe, consistent, and high-performing services.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, including internal audits and organisational self-assessments
  • Oversee the incident and quality management systems, ensuring thorough investigation, reporting, and follow-up
  • Maintain and enhance the organisation’s risk management approach, policies, and tools
  • Track and monitor compliance relating to staff screening, competencies, and quality/risk training requirements
  • Lead policy review processes and stay connected with industry standards to ensure practice remains current
  • Provide guidance to managers and staff, facilitate quality meetings, and build organisation-wide capability in quality and risk practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications or at least five years’ experience in aged care quality and risk management
  • AHPRA regsitered nurse 
  • Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems and aged care accreditation or audit processes
  • Strong ability to interpret standards, policies, and legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Up-to-date understanding of the aged care and community care regulatory environment
