2XM Recruit are seeking experienced Pump Fitters for a stable, workshop-based positions in the Perth area. This is steady, local work with a reputable employers in the Servicing/manufacturing sectors.
About the Role:
- Ongoing roles: (temp-to-perm and permanent from day one for certain roles)
- workshop hours (day shift, with potential overtime)
- Hands-on servicing, repair, overhaul, and rebuild of industrial pumps (dewatering, slurry, centrifugal, submersible, bore pumps, etc.)
- Workshop environment — clean, modern facility with all tools provided
- Immediate start for the right candidates
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working on pumps (essential — stripping, rebuilding, seal changes, impeller work, alignments, diagnostics)
- Trade qualification: Cert III Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
- Strong safety focus and ability to read technical drawings/specs
- Reliable, team-oriented, with good attention to detail
- Any relevant tickets (White Card, Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights, etc.) are a plus
- Full working rights in Australia (NZ/AUS Citizen, perm resident or unrestricted working Visa)
- Bonus skills/experience that will stand out:
- Hydraulic systems
- Valve fitting/repair
- Pipework and fabrication
- Compressor or rotating equipment
- Laser alignment tools
- Basic machining or workshop diagnostics
