2XM Recruit are currently seeking experienced Poly Fabricators for an immediate start on the Northern Star Growth Project, with the opportunity to roll straight into a 2-week shutdown at Tropicana following completion.
Northern Star Growth Project
Immediate Start | 4–5 Week Swing
We are looking for:
- 6 x Poly Fabricators/Polywelders – up to $65/hr
Mandatory Site Requirement
- Candidates must have been fully inducted on the Northern Star Growth Project within the last 6 months.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years’ Poly Fabrication/Polywelding experience
- Previous mining and shutdown experience highly regarded
- Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a shutdown/project team
Required Qualifications & Tickets
- Trade Certificate
- Poly Welding Certificate (within the last 2 years)
- Working at Heights (within the last 2 years)
- Confined Space Entry (within the last 2 years)
- EWP
- High Risk Work Licence
- White Card
- Australian Driver’s Licence
Required Clearances & Compliance
- National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical (within the last 6 months)
- Drug & Alcohol Screen (within the last 30 days)
Next Opportunity – Tropicana Shutdown
Following completion of the Northern Star Growth Project, there is an opportunity to roll straight into an upcoming Tropicana shutdown commencing 31 October 2026 for approximately 2 weeks.
We are looking for:
- 2 x Poly Fabricators/Polywelders – up to $65/hr
🔧 Tropicana Requirements
- 3+ years’ Poly Fabrication/Polywelding experience
- Previous mining and shutdown experience highly regarded
- Valid trade qualifications and relevant tickets
- Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a shutdown team
Operating Tickets – Highly Desirable
Candidates who hold valid tickets and 3+ years’ operating experience on the following equipment will be highly regarded:
- Bobcat
- Tipper
- Telehandler
- Excavator
- Loader
Back-to-Back Work
This is a great opportunity for experienced Poly Fabricators who are available for an immediate start and are looking for back-to-back project and shutdown work, with the potential to move directly from the Northern Star Growth Project into the Tropicana shutdown.
