2XM Recruit have several opportunities available for Plant Mechanics for our client located in the Perth Airport area.
Basic duties:
- Overhaul of mobile plant and automotive equipment
- Assess and repair hydraulic components
- Dismantle transmissions, mechanisms and other components to assess maintenance requirements
- Mechanically repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components
- Test all mechanical parts after being repaired to ensure repairs are adequately completed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic components
- Team-orientated, positive attitude towards work
- Mechanical Trade Certificate – Heavy
