NDT Technician
Our client, a well-established engineering company, is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join their team based in Bayswater.
This is a full-time casual position with a strong pathway to permanent employment for the right person.
This role offers consistent workshop-based work with exposure to high-quality equipment and projects supporting major industry clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections in line with relevant standards
- Interpret and evaluate results, ensuring compliance with specifications
- Complete accurate reporting and documentation of inspection results
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met
- Work collaboratively with workshop and production teams to ensure quality outcomes
About You
- Certified NDT Technician – level 3
- Experience within mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments
- Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working within NATA-accredited environments (desirable)
- High attention to detail with strong reporting skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work autonomously
