$55 per hour + Penalty Rates | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

About the Opportunity
2XM Recruit is currently seeking a trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter to join our client who is a leading provider of pipeline infrastructure solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical tradesperson looking for a hands-on role with consistent weekday hours and to work on a wide range of equipment used within their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs across a diverse range of operational equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise equipment downtime.
- Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Repair and replace mechanical components as required.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to safe and reliable operating standards.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support daily operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
About You
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification is essential – Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter.
- Previous experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work across a variety of equipment and machinery.
- A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
