Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + Super + Overtime + Allowances

About the Role
We’re seeking a Field Service Technician with strong mechanical skills and some electrical aptitude to join a global engineering company supporting industries across Australia and abroad.
This role is ideal for mechanically minded tradespeople who enjoy working on rotating equipment, motors, and generators, and who have basic electrical understanding or a QLD Restricted Electrical License (disconnect/reconnect). You’ll carry out diagnostics, maintenance, and service work on large-scale rotating machinery, both locally and occasionally offshore, ensuring reliability and performance for a wide range of industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and minor electrical service work on rotating electrical machines in line with company standards and safety procedures.

Work directly with customers to identify opportunities for improvement and provide practical solutions.

Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on-site and remotely.

Prepare tools, parts, and materials required for service activities.

Provide technical support, mentoring, and training where required.
What We’re Looking For

Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or similar.

Some electrical aptitude: a QLD Restricted Electrical License (disconnect/reconnect) is highly regarded.

Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with rotating equipment, motors, or generators.

Strong knowledge of OHS standards and safe work practices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

Willingness to travel for service assignments (domestic and occasional overseas).
