Estimator – HVAC & Commercial Services 2XM is hiring for an Estimator – HVAC & Commercial Services to join a growing team within the commercial mechanical services sector.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in HVAC maintenance, service estimating, commercial pricing, procurement or tender preparation who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The position focuses on commercial HVAC maintenance pricing, contract renewals, service proposals and formal maintenance tender submissions.

Unlike traditional construction estimating roles, this position centres on planned preventative maintenance, recurring service contracts, subcontractor pricing and ongoing commercial maintenance requirements.

The Opportunity This is a varied position offering exposure to commercial maintenance contracts, pricing exercises, tender opportunities and service proposals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the preparation of accurate pricing and professional submissions, ensuring service requirements, commercial considerations and deadlines are appropriately managed.

Candidates from estimating, procurement, contract administration, tendering, service coordination or commercial maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Previous HVAC or mechanical services experience will be advantageous, although candidates with strong computer literacy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and price commercial HVAC maintenance proposals.
• Review and reprice existing maintenance contracts as part of renewal processes.
• Assist with new maintenance tender opportunities and submissions.
• Review scopes of work, pricing schedules and procurement documentation.
• Develop pricing for planned preventative maintenance, subcontractor services and associated maintenance requirements.
• Liaise with relevant internal teams and subcontractors to confirm pricing, inclusions and service requirements.
• Prepare accurate, professional and commercially sound proposals and tender documentation.
• Manage assigned activities to ensure deadlines and submission requirements are met.

What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience in maintenance pricing, procurement, HVAC service or recurring service contract pricing.
• Exposure to preparing or supporting maintenance proposals, contract renewals or tender submissions.
• The ability to interpret maintenance scopes, service frequencies, pricing schedules and procurement documents.
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
• Accuracy when working with pricing, documentation, data and commercial information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
