An opportunity exists for an Electronics Technician who holds an Australian Certification III in Electrotechnology with X5 years minimum Electronics technician experience to join their team on a permanent basis on Mon – Fri day shift.
Position Overview:
To install, test fault find, repair & maintain electronics equipment & devices down to component sub assembly level.
Role Tasks & Duties:
The role includes but not limited to:
- Conduct component level fault diagnosis on complex electronic assemblies, electro-pneumatic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Manufacturer OEM electronic, electro-pneumatic and electro-mechanical assemblies to detailed specifications.
- Identification of faulty electronic components such as digital logic ICs, transistors and Op Amps
- Prepare detailed fault analysis and provide recommendations.
- Read and understand complex electronic schematic diagrams and component overlays.
- Use of test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters and LCR meters
- Use of electronics equipment such as hot air rework stations, temperature-controlled soldering irons, heat plates, thermal tweezers, microscopes, PCB micro Blasters etc.
- Conduct overhaul procedures to set specifications.
- Use of computer software such as SAP, CADIM, Excel and custom test software
- Maintain a clean and clear workspace.

- Australian Trade (TAFE) Diploma Certification III OR IV in Electronics Engineering or relatable to Electronics.
- Essential requirement is that you must be able to read detailed Electronics Circuit Schematic drawings, demonstrate testing procedures, identify faults & suggest improvement measures.
- 5 - 10 years electronics manufacturing, assemble, dissemble, fault finding, diagnostics & trouble shooting down to component level.
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills.
- IPC-7711/21, IPC-A 610 or IPC J-STD-001 certification
- Experience in electrical or electronic system maintenance and repair
- Experience using SAP and CADIM
- Leadership and team management experience
- Experience producing technical documentation such as fault diagnoses and test procedures.
- Passing a pre-employment medical
- Australian working rights
- The business is subject to the public health order requirements which are released of changed from time to time.
