The Opportunity
Working within a collaborative engineering team, you’ll support the delivery of electrical engineering solutions across mining and industrial projects from concept through to commissioning.

You’ll gain exposure across:

• High Voltage & Low Voltage power systems
• Electrical infrastructure projects
• Substations & switchgear
• Electrical design and technical documentation
• Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Engineering calculations
• Site installation support
• Commissioning activities
• FAT/SAT testing
• HV compliance documentation
• Energisation processes
• Working alongside electricians, technicians and project managers

This is a practical engineering role where you’ll see projects progress from design through to successful completion.

About You
Applications are welcomed from:

• Electrical Engineering Graduates
• Graduate Engineers with internship or industrial experience
• Junior Electrical Engineers
• Electrical Engineers with mining, utilities or industrial experience
• Engineers looking to transition into High Voltage engineering

You may bring:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (completed or nearing completion)
• Strong interest in power systems and electrical infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Current Australian working rights
• Current driver’s licence (or ability to obtain)

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)
Experience or exposure in any of the following would be advantageous:

• High Voltage systems
• Power distribution
• Substations
• Switchgear
• Electrical design
• AutoCAD
• Protection systems
• Commissioning
• PLCs / Automation
• Mining or heavy industrial environments
• HV compliance documentation
• Electrical standards and regulations
