2XM Recruit are looking for Boilermakers, Welders and Fabricators for a range of ongoing opportunities around Perth within Manufacutring industries.
Work includes a range of duties including working with structural steel, sheet metal, vehicle body building, modifications of mobile plant, maintenance and repair work.
Tasks & Responsibilities (across various roles):
- Perform FCAW, MIG, TIG, SMAW welding/ fabrication tasks according to specifications
- Modification to heavy automotive equipment
- TIG Pipe welding/fitting
- New builds for structural components
- Ensure quality of work by conducting inspections
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
The successful Candidate will have:
- Relevant proven workshop experience
- Excellent quality of work and time management skills
- Ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
