2XM Recruit are partnering with one of Australia’s leading providers of equipment hire and industrial solutions, to recruit an Account Manager for their Kalgoorlie branch.
Supporting customers across the Goldfields region, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a key territory, build long-term customer relationships and drive revenue growth across mining, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers while identifying and converting new business opportunities across the Goldfields region.
Working closely with branch operations and specialist divisions, you will act as a trusted partner to customers, ensuring they have access to the equipment and solutions required to support their operations and projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a customer-facing environment and is motivated by achieving commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across the Goldfields region
- Identify new business opportunities and grow share of wallet within existing accounts
- Develop and execute customer account plans to support ongoing revenue growth
- Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings to maintain engagement and identify upcoming opportunities
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations and commercial solutions tailored to customer requirements
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity and opportunity pipelines
- Work closely with internal operations and branch teams to ensure a high level of customer service and solution delivery
- Monitor market activity, customer projects and competitor movements within the region
- Achieve sales targets, activity KPIs and account growth objectives
About You
- Previous experience in Account Management, Business Development or Territory Sales roles
- Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive commercial outcomes
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously within a regional territory
- Ability to identify opportunities, generate leads and convert business
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts
- Positive, energetic and solutions-focused approach
Highly Regarded
- Experience within mining, construction, industrial services or equipment-related industries
- Existing network within the Goldfields or regional WA markets
- Exposure to equipment hire, mining services, industrial supply or contractor environments
- Experience using CRM systems and structured account management processes
- Trade, technical or operational background supporting customer engagement
