About the Role: As a trade assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting tradespersons with component overhauls and various tasks on site.
Responsibilities:
Assisting tradespersons with mechanical equipment.
Demonstrating mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in working on large equipment.
Planning and prioritising daily workload requirements within tight timeframes.
Maintaining strong attention to detail.
Motivating yourself to meet daily expectations.
About You: We are looking for candidates who exhibit the following:
A high regard for safety in the workplace.
A current manual driver’s licence.
A forklift ticket (essential).
A dogger’s ticket (advantageous or willing to obtain).
An overhead crane ticket (advantageous or willing to obtain).
A strong work ethic and a positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must:
Be available for an immediate start.
Be a Brisbane local.
Have your own transportation and happy to travel to Eagle Farm.
Have full Australian work rights.(Mandatory full working rights)
Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and Cat 3 Rail Medical.
