Job description

Our client is a leading provider in supplying Mining, Geology & Exploration Equipment Worldwide dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Store person with a valid forklift license to join our dynamic team in Seventeen Mile Rock. If you are a reliable and detail-oriented individual with experience in warehouse operations, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview: As a Store person with a forklift license, you will play a critical role in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, palletising and wrapping shipments, loading and unloading materials, and performing general warehouse duties to ensure the smooth functioning of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
  • Prepare customer orders
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Build and secure pallets for safe shipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and labeling.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring all goods are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments to verify accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including sweeping and organising storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift license/certification is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 20kg's).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.
