About the Role:
In this role, you will be a key part of facilitating our materials supply requirements within a high-performing workshop environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Managing Materials & Inventory: Oversee inventory, handle bulk consumables, maintain optimal stock levels by restocking inventory, cycle counts and ensure supplies are replenished on time.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to maintain the high standards of materials.
Warehouse Duties: Receiving, storing, and packing of goods and materials.
Workflow: Keeping inventory stocked well organised, so warehouse staff can quickly locate and retrieve items for shipping, reducing order processing time and improving overall efficiency.
Production: Ensure correct materials are delivered to the Production Machine Operators.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts as part of daily tasks in material handling and logistics.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in Manufacturing Warehousing: Prior experience in a manufacturing (Mandatory).
Metal Industry Experience: A strong understanding of various metals and electrical support products is highly desirable.
Full Australian Working Rights: Must be able to interview and commence immediately.
Licenses & Fitness: Current driver’s license and forklift license, plus the physical capability to work in a workshop.
Reliability & Team Spirit: Dependable and able to work well in a team setting, contributing to a positive, inclusive culture.
Logistics & Inventory Management: Experience in a similar dispatch or warehouse role, with a proven track record of efficient order processing and inventory control.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
