2XM Recruit have a fantastic opportunity in response to our clients continued growth, and we are now looking for an amazing Project Manager or Project Engineer to join their business, supporting manufacturing functions supplying services into the exciting Rail industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Manufacturing and driving ERP Systems to improve efficiency and quality of work ensuring the company goals are set and achieved.
The Role: Our client is a leader in the Rail sector and have a vision to continue to deliver world class products and services across the country. The role as a Project Manager requires a unique skill set that first and foremost understands the manufacturing industry and has previously delivered process improvement maximising the ERP Software systems to improve outputs
The Responsibilities: This role is pivotal to delivering an efficient manufacturing process from front end engineering to procurement to workshop and finally to the customer. With the ERP system already imbedded into the business are you the candidate to evolve and transform journey from manufacturing to delivery?
Successfully lead ERP software integrity by initiating, planning, controlling and delivering the manufacturing process
Drive great outcomes for teams nationally to ensure exceptional customer experience
Be the conduit between engineering teams and the workshops
Form part of an integral leadership team and be a Culture Driver within the organisation
Ensure close control of implementation changes, project scope, schedule and budget
Evolve the current process and procedures and challenge the status quo to improve the integration of the ERP software
The Candidate:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficient using ERP Systems and Microsoft Projects.
Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
Workshop industry experience across Fabrication, Mechanical Fitting and Auto-Electrics – advantageous
Exceptional communication with internal and external stakeholders, with a strong level of confidence and assertiveness
Previous experience with production scheduling tools, planning software with exceptional project management & governance practices
Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects
Experience working in a High Paced environment with a strong attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines
Proven track record of influencing, negotiating, and engaging stakeholders to achieve great outcomes
