Procurement Administrator x 2 Location: Bassendean, WA Hourly Rate: $44 - $50 p/h (depending on experience) Contract Role: 12 months, initial term
Are you an experienced Procurement Administrator with a strong background in material planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination? We’re looking for 2 x proactive professionals to join a dynamic team in Bassendean.
The Role These two positions will see you working as part of a small project team, based in Bassendean, accountable to a large mining customer for a 12 month + package of work.
It will see you accountable for managing the demand, supply and planning of all expendables, rotables and equipment to meet the project requirements. It will also include all material planning and inventory logistics, supplier management and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the key point of contact to ensure materials and rotables meet project timelines.
Plan and manage project materials based on review of BOM's, forecasts and project needs.
Oversee internal inventory, ensuring availability of parts and managing procurement.
Generate and present inventory reports, tracking material shortages and ordering.
Prepare and report monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to material supply.
Drive on-time transport of materials, managing logistics and necessary documentation.
Support vendor management, including Work-in-Process (WIP) reviews and forecasts.
Review open orders, in-transit materials, and work-in-progress to align with project timelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement in internal processes and site safety initiatives.
What You’ll Need:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong proficiency in MRP/ERP systems—Oracle or SAP experience preferred.
Previous entry level procurement, purchasing or material co-ordination or management experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
