2 exciting opportunities are open for Mechanical Fitters to join our valued rail clients workshops. Specialize in the service, overhaul, and maintenance of components for both Locomotives and Mining/Transport machinery.
Your role may include:
Execute comprehensive locomotive and component overhauls and rebuilds.
Overhaul drive system components and troubleshoot and repair faults.
Disassemble, maintain, clean, and reassemble locomotive and mining parts with adherence to maintenance documentation.
Implement technical modifications whenever necessary for optimal functionality.
Execute precision work aligned with trade requirements.
Maintain a consistent track record of timely and precise task completion.
Uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all operations.
Accurately complete final inspection sheets to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes
Certificate lll in Engineering - Mechanical
Previous experience with fault diagnostics, maintaining components, and re-builds
Previous industry experience in rail, mining, conveyors, and drivers
Must be AU citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for these roles. The pay and conditions will be as per their current Enterprise Agreement.
