Assembly and disassembly of all capital and used underground mining materials handling equipment within a workshop environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Review factory orders and drawings to determine job specifications and requirements.
Assembly and disassembly of all capital and used underground mining materials handling equipment, notably locking assemblies, bearings, seals, housings and couplings on conveyor pulleys and all related work functions.
Maintenance of onsite fixed and mobile plant, including the completion of the appropriate paperwork for the maintenance schedule reports, for the equipment that has been repaired/inspected.
Work must be carried out by relevant Australian Standards and in line with internal Quality Systems.
Forklift driving, overhead crane driving, handling material and equipment and ancillary duties
To produce the allocated job within the estimated and designated hours.
Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and workshop in general to 5S Standard.
Identifying improvements and completing a Non-Conformance Report when required.
Meet strict quality requirements for each part and record results in ITR..

Qualifications and Experience:
Cert.III in Engineering – Mechanical
Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualifications
2 + Years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter
LF license desirable.
