Mechanical Assembly Technician - Rail

Based at their workshop in New Gisborne, this role is perfect for someone based in the North/Western suburbs who might not fancy the commute in to the city, wanting to head out the opposite way.
THE ROLE: - Mechanical Fitting and assembling
- Preparing test mechanical equipment
- Performing initial mechanical assembly and participating in first article inspections of our products
- Conducting tests in accordance with procedures and documenting the results
- Providing testing procedure guidance to colleagues for new mechanical products
- Suggesting design improvements for the development of new mechanical products
- Proposing workshop enhancements to maintain a top-level facility

- TEMP TO PERM CONTRACT - view to be taken on permanently after successful contract period
