Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Boilermakers/ Fabricator

Location: Wacol

Working Hours:
 Monday - Thursday 4pm-2am (Plenty of Overtime Available)

Pay rate $61.59p/h casual rate

About the Role: Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, seeking skilled Boilermakers to join their team. With decades of engineering and manufacturing expertise, they produce innovative, high-quality products for both local and international markets.

As a Boilermaker, your passion for precision and detail will be essential. You will be responsible for fabricating heavy haulage trailers and components, confidently interpreting design drawings, accurately measuring and cutting materials, and applying various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble trailers according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform cutting, punching, rolling, bending, drilling, and welding of steel products
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and foster a culture of safety within the workshop
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in all fabrication processes to meet high-quality standards
What We’re Looking For:

  • Boilermaker Trade Qualification (or similar)
  • Previous experience in the heavy manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
