2XM Recruit are looking for Boilermakers & Welders for a range of exciting, ongoing opportunities around Perth within the Rail, Engineering & Construction sectors.
Work includes a range of duties including working with structural steel, modifications, mobile/fixed plant, maintenance and repair work. Tasks & Responsibilities:
Perform welding/ fabrication tasks according to specifications
Modification and repairs to heavy equipment
New builds for structural components of mobile plant
Ensure quality of work by conducting inspections
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
The successful Candidate will have:
Relevant proven workshop experience
AUS/NZ Trade Certificate (or TRA)
Excellent quality of work and time management skills
Ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
