2XM Recruit currently have an exciting position open for a Stores Person to join a global leading rail component manufacturer at their South Eastern suburbs warehouse.

This vacancy is available for an immediate start.

The role of a Stores person is to accept deliveries, store goods received and coordinating the logistics of parts and materials to and from clients.
This role requires a number of sustained postures along with gross motor movements (to operate machinery and forklifts).

The role is a permanent position, however will begin as a 6 month contract. 

Criteria;

  • Previous experience in a similar role - warehousing, receiving goods and picking
  • Forklift license (essential)
  • High level of attention and concentration to correctly identify and verify goods and to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment
  • Understanding of and insight into Occupational Health and Safety requirements
